01 / FIELD REPORT

DeFROST! is a tabletop miniatures game about rejecting tyranny at home. Build a team from a selection of dissenters. Stage daring rescues, disrupt communications, and protect your city from the FROST (Federal Regulation Operations - Strike Team) agents who have flooded the streets. 

This game is a work of fiction and any similarity or resemblance to any real or historical people or events is purely coincidental. 

That said, maybe the game will prove cathartic to those who have been suffering under bargain-bin authoritarianism for far too long. 

Violence in DeROST! is non-lethal and often avoidable, but the poorly trained, over-equipped agents of FROST are sure to act beyond the restrictions of the law, so the players will need to approach their missions with that in mind. 

This game is offered as pay-what-you-want, but all proceeds from sales will be donated to Americans for Immigrant Justice (https://aijustice.org/).

Development on the game continues, but it is playable as-is, and updated versions will be available to anyone who has purchased/downloaded the game.

02 / FACTIONS

FACTION 01 · The Dissent

Dissenters come from all walks of life, all ages, all skill levels, and all backgrounds. Their common bond is a desire to see human rights restored and the freedom returned. Pick from classes including the Helper, the Organizer, the Sneak, the Protector, and the Techie. 

FACTION 02 · FROST

Over-equipped, under-trained, and motivated mostly by malice, FROST agents swarm the streets, abducting, harassing, and abusing the residents of Metroburg, USA.

03 / REQUIREMENTS

• ✕  EQUIPMENT. The rulebook, miniatures of your choosing, and about 10 6-sided dice. 
• ✕  SURFACE. A flat surface, about 2'x2' or 3'x3'. 
• ✕  MINIATURES. Miniature agnostic, with a modern setting - there are many creators sculpting modern miniatures for 3D printing, and Wargames Atlantic also makes a selection of plastic modern minis. 
• ✕  DISSENTERS. This is a solo or co-op game, so 1 or more people can play.
